The lecturers of the Department not only provide the students of humanitarian departments with teaching of a normative course “Philosophy”. They composed and give a normative course “Actual problems of modern philosophy” for masters, some special courses, such as “The culture of international relations”, “Worldview and methodological problems of anthropo- and sociogenesis”, “Methods of philosophy teaching”, “Futurological theories of personality”, “Philosophy of business”, “Science and religion”. Scientific work of the Philosophy of Humanities Department is concentrated on the problem of “Philosophical-worldview and Politological aspects of Humanitarian Development of modern Society”.  Basic scientific results are determined by the separation of regularities of the development of modern society and Ukraine, the main of them are: first, global social processes in the world and practice of creation of progressive ideology, that needs drastic changes in philosophy as theoretic foundation of worldview culture; second, the priority of national interests and ambitious vision of their place in global social transformations should be the principal methodological vector of advanced changes in the development of philosophical thought in Ukraine; third, the change of worldview culture of modern Ukrainian youth is in direct relation with flexible, corresponding times changes in teaching of philosophical disciplines, their orientation to essential vision of unity of national and universal interests.
