Chinese Marxism and its socio-cultural implications



Project description


The project aims to systematically study the phenomenon of Chinese Marxism, its worldview, philosophical, political principles, and the potential impact of this area on the humanitarian development of modern Ukrainian society. The essential task of the project is to carry out a comparative and typological analysis of the philosophical foundations of Chinese Marxism with modern European Marxist philosophical schools and "Soviet" Marxism. The expected results of the study include studying the process of Cinicization of Marxism, historical and biographical analysis of key representatives of Chinese Marxism (Sun Yat-sen, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, Xi Jinping), study and evaluation of existing and potential strategies of current and potential strategies in intercultural communication practices (the Belt and Road Initiative) and the education system. The project envisages consideration of the concept and practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics, determination of its current and possible impact on the socio-political life of Europe and Ukraine. The project focuses on analysing the philosophical and ideological content and practical goals of the humanitarian part of the Belt and Road Initiative, assessing the benefits and risks of its implementation for Europe and Ukraine.
